Arkhangelsky District (Russian: Архангельский район; Bashkir: Архангел районы) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifty-four in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia. Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Arkhangelskoye. District's population: 18,511 (2010 Census preliminary results); 20,165 (2002 Census); 20,720 (1989 Census). Population of Arkhangelskoye accounts for 28.0% of the district's population.
The district was established in 1930.
The district has developed livestock farming with dairy-meat production and bee keeping.[citation needed] Wheat, sugar beet, rye, and oats are grown.[citation needed] A significant development has been the forestry industry.[citation needed]
Arkhangelsky State Reserve was established in the district for the protection of waterfowl.[citation needed]
