International Student Visa: A Key to the World of Education

Every student planning to study abroad needs International Student Visa. 'Visa' is a legal authorization for the person to be in any country. International Student Visa is limited for a specified period and is issued only to those who are planning to study. It is either extended from year to year or for the estimated length of time needed to complete studies or degree program.

International student visa allows a person to study. It does not grant a person the right to immigrate nor does it give a right to remain in the country beyond the stipulated time period mentioned.

Courtesy visa is issued to representatives of a foreign government, while journalist visa is issued to media personalities. Immigrant visa is designed for those intending to immigrate to the country. H1B and L1 visas are Specialty visas issued in the US, are more difficult to obtain, and are issued to those whose work skills are desired, such as engineers.

Obtaining an international student visa for the US is not difficult. Most college students who wish to come to the US for studies can easily obtain an international student visa. They only require sufficient and proper financial support, and no criminal records.
